Sushi up to Our Noses

Last night, Kim, Nathan, Jesse, and I went to an all-you-can-eat sushi buffet.  The price was $10 each, and we couldn't resist!  Jesse and I love sushi, so we're always excited to go with friends who enjoy it too.  I've never eaten so much sushi in my life!  We were up to our noses in it.

Don't believe me?

Check it out:

:-)

The food came around on a conveyor belt, and you could just grab whatever looked good.

We just kept grabbing...

and grabbing...

and grabbing....

Nathan and Kim (one of these days I'll have to tell you the story of how I inadvertently introduced them)

Both of us couples will be celebrating 3 years of marriage this year!

Check out how many plates we emptied!  Between the four of us, we really got our money's worth.

4 people, 1 hour, 64 plates...

The guys were sure we made some sort of restaurant record, so they wanted to show the date:

It was a very fun night, but I think we all realized that our eyes really are bigger than our stomaches, and we'll be a little more sensible next time!

I'm so thankful for this time that we get to spend this week with some of our closest friends from our college days.  It is such a blessing to have such wonderful friends...and eating together is one of our favorite things!

  3. Double dates are so much fun!
We used to do stuff together all the time back in college, and it's been a long two years without them. It's nice to have them back in the country :-)

Any time you want to leave your adorable little Elora with me, I'll watch her so you and Corey can go out! ;-)
