I rushed her to the changing table, but couldn't resist taking a picture and sending it to Jesse.
"Envious, much? Lol, I guess I'm not allowed to take showers any more!"
If you're wondering, "What weirdo sends poopy pictures to her husband?"
I'll proudly raise my hand. Don't you think it helps them appreciate what we do on the front line?
Anyway, I nearly fell down the stairs yesterday when I heard Jesse come home. He greeted me at the steps with a beautiful bouquet.
"What's this for?!?"
"For being an amazing mom," He said. "Thanks for all you do."
*swoon*
I love my guy!
That was so thoughtful! You totally deserve those beautiful flowers.
ReplyDeleteHow sweet!
ReplyDeleteOh he sounds like a keeper for sure!!! I wish camera phones were around when I was a young mommy!! LOL
ReplyDeleteThat made me cry! Jesse's stock keeps going up and up!
ReplyDeleteMade my day. We love that husband of yours too! Can't wait to show Ami :)
ReplyDeleteWow Beth! What a keeper! <3
ReplyDeleteYAY for flowers! Boo for soupy poop. I finally got that text by the way. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great husband. Tell him to advise Mark :-)
ReplyDeletelol, Mark will catch on! He's probably still in shell-shock mode. The first month kind of does that to you :) It looks like you're all settling in, though! Kayleigh went all over the place with us starting as soon as we got home from the hospital, too. I'm thankful we both have such easy going kids! ♥
DeleteWe are doing pretty well. Things change so fast in the first month, you never really know what you are doing :)
DeleteIt seemed like Ivan was getting pretty close to sleeping through the night, when all of a sudden he went back to two feedings at night. That was disappointing... I am hoping that will change again soon.
take care!
GROWTH SPURT!! That happened with Kayleigh, too--don't worry! Things will even out soon :)
DeleteToo sweet. I will definitely be taking your mommy expertise and sending my hubby horrible poopy pictures, haha. Oh btw, just found out we are having a girl!
ReplyDelete!!!! I'm so excited for you, Ashley! It will be fun to be bloggy mommies together :)
DeleteGreat. Now that you posted it online, if I try to do that for Kim, she'll just think I got the idea from you.
ReplyDeleteNo matter who's idea it was, a girl will never fault her guy for getting her flowers :)
Deleteheh, I forgot to include a ;) so you knew I was just teasing! :)
